UTAR is a private university established under the Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 in Malaysia. The University is a not-for-profit organisation, which aims to be a global university of educational excellence with transformative societal impact. The University currently operates and owns two campuses in Kampar and Sungai Long.
